Our first meeting of the new Garden Club began with getting our hands dirty and making some pretty garden journals and note books.
Each member received a kit which included beautiful country French and Provence styled wall papers, satin and velvet ribbons, sketch paper, and embellishments.
Everyone added their own personal touch to their books and we all created a lovely "library" of garden journals.
This was such a well received program and project, that I have heard we may be doing something artsy like this to jump start our meetings every year.
